Our Backroad Navigator app includes all of Backroad Mapbooks’ industry-leading map coverage and paddling information, offering most of the same features as our GPS Maps without having to buy a bulky GPS unit. Paddlers can find all the lakes, rivers, streams, ponds, creeks, ocean and whitewater routes, complete with written descriptions offering information on difficulty, route length, highlights, access and more.

Paddlers can track their trip along a river or lake, saving their route for future reference or sharing it online with their friends and family. Custom waypoints allow you to mark the exact location of that put-in or portage, and the Paddling Adventures layer can be toggled on or off at your leisure so your phone’s screen is not cluttered with unwanted information. A subscription to our app also grants you access to our Web Map, so you can browse your paddling opportunities on the larger screen of your PC or laptop.
