Colin’s business card lists “Master of Many Disguises” as his occupation. He handles all the back end operations of a high end furniture store in north-east Toronto, is the technical director and lighting designer at a local roadhouse theatre, coordinating all the concerts and events that hit the stage and has recently taken an expanded role research writing for the Canada’s Backroad Mapbooks.

Colin was smitten by the outdoors at an early age as his family spent their summers camping and traveling across Canada. When he purchased his first Land Rover fifteen years ago, it allowed him to travel further out to explore. An avid hiker, mountain biker and canoeist, he’s always on the look-out for new destinations to visit and having a 4x4 vehicle has become a means to that end. Colin and his wife reside in a home they built on a two acre bush lot, about an hour north-east of Toronto.
