Cariboo Region, BC

Chris Siemens is born and raised in BC, and his family has used Backroad Mapbooks for exploring and finding new fishing lakes and adventures since the ‘90s. An avid hiker and angler, Chris also enjoys snowboarding, archery, oil painting, photography, and exploring – particularly in the Cariboo region with his friends and family, or on road trips around British Columbia and Alberta.

Always photographing his adventures, Chris loves playing “tourist” around Canada and is always game to have others with similar interests join him on his adventures. He is constantly in awe of the beauty of the Canadian wilderness and is very passionate about appreciating and enjoying the country and leaving wild spaces as they are.
