BRMB Navigator and GPS Maps – Your Guide to Canada’s Most Exciting ATV Adventures!

Home to an endless network of trails, old roads and open play areas, Canada is an ATVer’s paradise. In BC, trails lead you over high mountain passes and past secluded lakes. In the prairies, seldom-used grid roads extend far beyond the horizon. In Ontario and Quebec, secluded routes wind through the forest and rock of the Canadian Shield. And in the Maritimes, you can ride your Off-Highway Vehicle to a breathtaking lookout over the Atlantic Ocean. No matter which part of the country you find yourself in, ATVing adventure abounds.

With so many choices for ATVing, figuring out where to begin can be a daunting task. That’s why the Backroad Mapbooks team has worked hard to untangle the web of trails, abandoned roads, former railways and more to provide you with the most comprehensive ATVing guide available for the Canadian backcountry.

What is the ATV Adventure Layer?

The ATV Adventure Layer is one of 11 different Adventure Layers featured on the BRMB Navigator app. Simply select the ATV adventure layer and the BRMB Navigator will display all of the ATV routes in your region.

Your map will be filled to the brim with ATVing information, including clearly marked staging areas, backcountry campsites, natural features such as waterfalls and creeks and more. Our ATV routes are also supplemented with written descriptions compiled by our team of outdoor writers and researchers. These descriptions include information on route distance, difficulty, elevation gain, access, highlights, camping options and more.

And if you’re going off the grid on your next ATVing adventure, simply download an offline map and explore your desired route with confidence, even outside of data and cell service. From challenging mountain routes to relaxing rides along maintained trails, let the BRMB Navigator guide you on your next Canadian ATV adventure.

Paddling Adventure Layer Highlights:

  • -Close to 93,000 km (57,800 mi) of designated ATV-OHV Trails
  • -Almost 1,050 individual trails with clearly marked trailheads
  • -Written descriptions for the main trail systems with distance and difficulty
  • -Thousands of additional multi-use shared trails to explore on foot
  • -Hundreds of thousands of kilometers of old logging roads and deactivated roads that provide additional riding opportunities

In addition to our BRMB Navigator app, all of the above-mentioned ATV data is available for our Canada-wide line of GPS Maps. These Garmin-licensed maps are compatible with Garmin Basecamp™ and Mapsource™ and offer all the cartographic detail and recreational information you have come to expect from a Backroad Mapbooks product.

The GPS Maps are a favourite for those heading out on extended wilderness adventures, since they do not rely on cell or internet service to operate. ATV routes are clearly charted and classified, and we include all the Points of Interest that pertain to ATVing including campsites, recreation sites, staging areas, land features and more.

No matter if you choose the BRMB Navigator app or the GPS Maps, you can expect to find the most up-to-date and detailed trail information available in Canada right at your fingertips.
